Profile:
An economist and homeschool teacher for our two daughters, I
am actively involved in the school choice movement as a first step toward phasing out the role of government in primary and secondary
education. I have taught college economics at UMSL,
Washington University, and Southern Illinois University,
with a focus on the effects of government regulation on health care,
technological innovation, and education. My daughters and I spend much of
our free time caring for a wide variety of pets, from frogs
to horses.

Profile:
I am retired from the transportation
business, including stints with a railroad, airline,
chemical traffic and railroad operations consultant
and simulation developer (SoftRails). I occasionally write articles
and give Operation Lifesaver presentations on railroad safety to school
children. I first read Atlas Shrugged in 1958 because I thought it was
a book about trains! I attended the live NBI lectures in Philadelphia and
later became the Business Manager for the lectures in St. Louis in the early 1960's.

Profile:
While my profession is a web developer, my passion lies with
education and building architecture frameworks, whether in philosophy,
business or software. I
work for VCS full time and do freelance web development in my spare time. Some
of my projects have included
The Daily Objectivist, Camp
Indecon, and the Citizens
for Educational Freedom web site.
When not working, I can be found relaxing in the great
outdoors, either camping, swimming, running, hiking, or rock
climbing. Or you can find me discussing philosophic ideas with anybody
willing to respond.

Profile:
I have been the editor of our group's newsletter, The
Gateway Objectivist, for the past three years and a
member of GO (and the predecessor organization) for
over 10 years. I first discovered Ayn Rand in college by skimming
through The Ayn Rand Lexicon. Her books opened up the world of philosophy
and conscious rational thought to me.
I am currently working for Bank of America in small
business lending. While not at work or writing
articles for the newsletter, I spend all my time with my
wife, Kim, our one-year-old son, Cameron, and two cats, Sugar & Zuzu.
